Jamaican Medical Student at Howard University receives US$157K Scholarship.

Prime Minister, the Most Honorable Andrew Holness (right), greets Jamaican Medical student and recipient of a US$157,266 (approx. JMD $22,000,000) scholarship at Howard University as part of his working visit to the Capital. Narica Clarke broke down in tears at the announcement that she the scholarship would cover her final two years at Medical School.


The joyful moment was shared by (L-R) Ms. Sinem Vatanartiran, President of Bay Atlantic Univeristy, Dr. Wayne Fredrick, President Howard University, Ambassador Audrey Marks, Mr. Enver Yucel, Chairman, Bay Atlantic University who funded the scholarship and Mr. Paul Brunson, Advisor to Mr. Yucel.
