In the aftermath of the unimaginable devastation wrought across the island by the Category 5 storm, Hurricane Melissa, Jamaica's Promise is collecting donations for direct distribution to the Government of Jamaica, partner organizations, and mutual aid coordinators on the ground to provide immediate relief to those most affected by the storm, primarily on the western side of the island (namely Manchester, St. Elizabeth, Westmoreland, Hanover, and St. James (Montego Bay)).
